Privacy and data handling
The downloader does not require a user account. To process an artwork, the application receives the link you submit, requests public source information and uses the returned media to deliver the file you choose.
Links, sessions and image files
Resolved artwork information is held in a temporary server session with a ten-minute expiry. Source downloads are streamed through the service. Conversions temporarily write the source and converted output to server storage; the input is removed after successful conversion, and expired job files are cleaned up.
The application uses request IP information for rate limits and concurrent-download controls. A session expiring does not mean that every infrastructure log has been erased. Hosting and Cloudflare can process request and connection information separately from the application’s temporary media handling.
Browser preferences and reports
The light or dark theme preference is stored in your browser’s localStorage. It is a display preference rather than a SeaArt account login.
Contact and rights-report submissions store the supplied email address, source URL and message on the server, along with a reference and submission time, for review. Avoid sending passwords, cookies or unnecessary personal information. The application does not specify an automatic retention period for these reports.
StatInside visitor analytics
This website uses the StatInside visitor counter. Requests to StatInside include the visited page URL, referring page, visit identifiers, browser and device information such as language and screen size, and interaction information such as clicks, scrolling and time on the page. Network requests also disclose your IP address to the provider.
The counter sets the si_usr_id visitor cookie for up to one year, renewed on visits, and the si_ses_id session cookie for approximately fifteen minutes, refreshed while a page remains open. These analytics identifiers are separate from the downloader’s ten-minute result sessions.
Depending on the counter configuration, StatInside can also record page content and interaction sequences for session replay, and collect browser errors. Analytics processing is separate from temporary media processing and the contact reports described on this page.
