SeaArt Downloader API

The API resolves supported public SeaArt artwork links into temporary download sessions. Use the returned formats to decide what is available for a particular work instead of assuming that every image has a PNG source or a public prompt.

Resolve a link

The response contains a temporary session ID, title, source URL, preview route and an array of formats. Sessions expire after ten minutes.

Download a source

GET /api/download?id=SESSION_ID&format=original

Supports a single byte Range request. Use the same domain that created the session. Public GET endpoint: /api/v1/resolve?url=ENCODED_URL, limited to 60 requests per hour per IP.

Prepare a conversion

GET /api/progress/JOB_ID

The progress endpoint emits server-sent events. A done event includes a temporary download URL. A 503 BUSY response means another conversion is active. Files must be under 200 MB and 10 minutes.

Check several links

Up to ten links. Each result contains either a download session or an individual error. There is no API key and fair-use limits apply.

Interpret the SeaArt response

A successful response can include a title, author, image dimensions, source URL, public prompt and recipe. The recipe may contain prompt, negativePrompt, model, seed, steps, cfg and sampler; missing fields are not reconstructed. The current export has no structured LoRA list.

The original format key refers to the returned media file. A different image format requires the conversion workflow. Prompt and recipe downloads are text metadata, while batch ZIPs contain source media.

Build around temporary sessions

Resolve and download on this domain; a session from another site is not interchangeable.
Sessions and converted-download jobs expire after ten minutes. Resolve the artwork again after an EXPIRED response.
Submit no more than ten URLs per batch. The combined source ZIP and each individual source have a 200 MB limit.
One conversion runs at a time. Handle BUSY and RATE_LIMITED responses with a delayed retry.
Keep POLICY_BLOCKED and access errors distinct from temporary processing errors.

Keep integrations within the public-link scope

Supply individual SeaArt artwork detail URLs. Profiles, model pages and direct CDN image URLs are outside the accepted input paths. The service does not accept SeaArt account credentials or session cookies.

Read the endpoint reference on this page for request shapes and response handling. Do not treat a returned session ID as a permanent link to an image.
