SeaArt / FIELD NOTES
Save a public SeaArt prompt and recipe
A prompt can explain the idea behind a picture, while generation settings provide more of its technical context. SeaArt Downloader reads the public metadata returned with an artwork and offers the available prompt as TXT and recipe as JSON.
This is a metadata extraction workflow. It does not infer a prompt from the image, uncover private settings or generate a substitute recipe when information is missing.
Download your own work or content you have permission to save.
Keep the text with its image
The prompt panel and TXT choice appear only when prompt text is available. Recipe JSON may still be offered with an incomplete set of values. Its presence does not mean that SeaArt returned every setting or that the work can be recreated exactly. If your browser prevents copying to the clipboard, select the visible text and copy it using the browser’s controls.
- Resolve the individual public SeaArt artwork link.
- Open the Public prompt panel if one is present and inspect the text.
- Use Copy text for quick notes or Prompt TXT to save the public prompt as a file.
- Download Recipe JSON for the additional fields returned with that artwork.
- Save the source image and record the artwork URL in the same project folder.
Read the fields in Recipe JSON
Unavailable fields may be omitted from the JSON; prompt strings can be empty. The exporter reads these values from the public artwork response and does not fill gaps. A value of zero, if supplied, is different from a missing field.
| Field | What the export records | How to interpret a gap |
|---|---|---|
| prompt | Public prompt text returned for the artwork. | Empty text means no usable public prompt was returned. |
| negativePrompt | Public negative prompt text, when present. | An empty value does not prove no negative prompt was used. |
| model | The returned model name. | A name or its absence does not establish an exact checkpoint version. |
| seed | The recorded generation seed, when supplied. | A missing seed is not a value to guess. |
| steps | The recorded step setting. | The exporter does not substitute a default. |
| cfg | The recorded CFG setting. | Keep the value as supplied with its source context. |
| sampler | The recorded sampler name. | An absent name limits comparisons with another workflow. |
Why a prompt and seed may not reproduce the result
Generation depends on more than the visible prompt. The exact model version, additional resources, dimensions, reference inputs and later edits can matter. The current export does not provide a complete workflow graph, a structured LoRA list, model hashes or reference-image inputs.
Use the recipe as an evidence-based starting point for your notes. Mark information you checked on the original artwork separately from guesses. If you experiment with another model or setting, save your own new recipe rather than overwriting the record of the source work.
When a prompt is absent or different
Check the original artwork page to see what the creator actually made public. Text in a title or caption is not necessarily the generation prompt. The downloader reads the specific public prompt field, so it does not turn every description on the page into prompt metadata.
A hidden or unavailable prompt cannot be recovered by changing image formats. Converting the image to PNG does not embed missing settings. Keep any details the creator voluntarily supplies in your own notes, preserving the distinction between their published information and your interpretation.
Questions about this guide
Does Prompt TXT include the negative prompt?
Prompt TXT contains the public main prompt. The negativePrompt field belongs to Recipe JSON when that information is returned.
Is the recipe embedded in the saved PNG?
The tool provides a separate JSON file. It does not add a complete recipe to the image metadata, so keep the companion file.
Does the JSON include the source artwork URL?
The current recipe file contains the extracted generation fields. Keep the artwork URL separately; it is available through the result’s original-work link.
